Per i clienti che commercializzano negli Stati Uniti è sempre stato obbligatorio avere il Certificato di Conformità dei prodotti già dal 2008, ma dal giorno 8 luglio 2026 diventerà obbligatorio tramettere le informazioni relative al CPSC per i codici HTS compresi nella lista allegata.
I requisiti necessari che il CPSC richiede sono I seguenti e possono essere trasmessi insieme alla documentazione doganale di Export :
- Product ID (identification of the finished product: SKU, GTI number, or part number, etc.)
- Each CPSC rule to which the finished product has been certified
- Date when the finished product was manufactured
- Name and address where the finished product was manufactured, produced, or assembled
- Date when the finished product was most recently tested for compliance with the CPSC
- Name, address, and contact information for the entity that conducted the testing
- Contact information for the importer or party maintaining test results and records
